Special Needs T/A Required - 1-1 with an Autistic pupil Do you have experience working 1-1 with a Primary aged Autistic pupils? Can you commit to a full time post for at least the rest of the Academic year? Can you start immediately? Are you an experienced Special Needs Teaching Assistant who is confident working 1:1 with a pupil who has severe Autism and complex needs? Are you confident, enthusiastic and motivated with a passion for Special Needs? Are you reliable and focused, make an instant impact and show determination in offering the best support and guidance? This lovely Special Needs School is located in the London Borough of London and requires an experienced Special Needs Teaching Assistant. This is a long-term contract that could lead to a permanent post from September 2011. You will be required to work 1:1 with the pupil and this will require diligence, loyalty and motivation, and candidates that have previous experience of the Autistic Spectrum Disorder will have a stronger position when applying. This lovely SEN school has an excellent head teacher supportive teaching staff with a fantastic team ethic. Pupils are respectful of their peers and teachers alike. This is a great opportunity for someone who loves SEN, wants satisfaction from knowing their making a difference and wants to be rewarded emotionally. Couple this with a strong SEN department and a vibrant and lively school this is a great post for the right candidate. The Head is interviewing immediately and would prefer someone with previous experience but would consider someone who has empathy for Special Needs, can communicate clearly and has a good routine!!
