Impact Teachers has a fantastic vacancy for a Teacher of the Deaf in a Mainstream Secondary school.
The post is to start ASAP and should be full time until the end of the school year. You will be teaching Hearing Impaired Pupils at KS3, GCSE and A level.
You will be supporting deaf students in mainstream classrooms as well as in the Deaf Resource Base. A minimum of CACDP Stage II Signing or equivalent is essential and ideally experience working with students from KS3, 4 and/or 5 as well.
The school has Performing Arts Specialist Status and Ofsted has marked out this area as particularly outstanding.
In order to apply for this post you must have a formal teaching qualification and have taught in a school environment within the past 2 years (NQT pracs ok).
