A Pupil Referral Unit in the South Hertfordshire area is looking for a qualified secondary teacher with good behaviour management skills and the ability to empathise and build good relationships with pupils who can be quite challenging. Many of the pupils have varied SEN including EBD and MLD. Subject background is not as important as character and attitude and the team of staff there are very friendly and supportive. You would be expected to teach KS3 and KS4 and may well need to teach a few subjects. The role is currently short term, but for the right person it may well extend. You must be suitably qualified for the position advertised and be prepared to attend a face to face interview with Axcis to demonstrate your suitability for this role.
