SEN Teacher Needed in East London A lovely friendly Special needs school are looking for an exceptional trained SEN teacher to work on a long-term basis from September 2011. Working as an SEN teacher is one of the most rewarding and challenging aspects of working in education so candidates must be patient, caring and love the idea of never having two days the same. You will be required to work with individuals and small groups of children that have a range of learning and behavior difficulties. The role requires you to be a confident teacher and experience working with Profound Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) or Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) children would be beneficial but is not essential. The pay rates for the role of SEN teacher are negotiable depending on experience. Please note the following requirements prior to applying for this position: You must be a fully qualified teacher registered with the GTC. You must have good spoken and written English Eligibility to work in the UK You must have a minimum of 6 months teaching experience with in a special needs school. Your CV must cover your employment history accurately and any employment breaks must be explained You need to supply two years of references of which at least one must be from a education setting.
