Qualified Teacher for 1:1 and Small Group Tuition

Main/Upper Pay Scale (depending if post threshold) or £25.00 per hour for a ten week programme of tuition

We need skilled teachers to work with individual children or very small groups to accelerate progress in maths and/or English. Hours are extremely flexible, both within and outside the school day.

Payment dependant upon type of contract. Payment either on teachers' main pay scale or at £25.00 per hour for a ten week programme (paid for 12 weeks to allow for planning, preparation and assessment, etc)

We have developed an intense and varied programme of support to maximise pupil progress. Children work on key skills in very small groups, usually two to five, focussing either on maths or English. Some provision is within the school day. We have a team of teachers who work with small groups/1:1 who work part time 3-5 days per week on MPS/UPS. We also provide extensive tutoring after school. We usually operate in ten week blocks, paying £300.00 for each block. We have also provided a very successful Easter School (9.30 - 2.30). For the right candidate we are happy to explore other timings and options. Tuition is offered to all age groups but we would take on your skills and experience into consideration when deciding which age children.
