A primary school in Brent requires a part-time Teaching Assistant to start ASAP. You will be working 1:1 with a pupil in Year 4 who is currently at least 2 years behind age appropriate academic expectations. He is a happy child who is keen to learn although he finds it difficult due to his leanring needs, gaps in his schooling, and a poor memory. In order to be considered for this position, you MUST have previous experience of working in a similar role, and you must be prepared to assist the class teacher with the other pupils whenever necessary but still keep in mind that your focus must be to support your 1:1 pupil. The hours for this position are as follows: Mon: 08:30 - 12:15 Tues: 08:30 - 12:15 Wed: 08:30 - 12:15 Thurs: 08:30 - 4:15 Fri: 08:30 - 3:15 If these hours are not suitable for you then please do not apply as they are not subject to negotiation / change.
