A Pupil Referral Unit in West London requires a full-time Art teacher to deliver the GCSE curriculum on a long-term basis starting ASAP. You must have previous experience of delivering the GCSE Art curriculum, and must also hold a UK recognised teaching qualification. The pupils in the unit have emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD) and can be quite challenging at times, but class sizes are very small - usually no more than 8 pupils in a class - and there is much support available from senior staff, LSAs and the Headteacher. You don't necessarily need to have previous experience working with EBD pupils, but patience, a caring nature and plenty of enthusiasm are a must! If you hold a current CRB check (i.e. one issued within the last 18 months) and think you have the relevant experience, please do not hesitate to apply.
