A primary school in Brent requires a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to work with a year 5 pupil who is registered as visually impaired. You don't necessarily need to have experience working with visually impaired people, however you MUST be energetic, enthusiastic, and experienced in working with primary pupils in a mainstream setting. Some kind of background in working with SEN would be advantageous. This pupil is struggling academically and will need plenty of support with her work. You must speak very good English, and be available on a full-time basis to start immediately.
