A nice primary school in Brent is looking for a full-time Teaching Assistant to start in September 2011. You will be working 1:1 with a Reception aged pupil with Down's Syndrome. This pupil relies heavily on using Makaton as a means of communication, and it is therefore a necessity for the successful candidate to have training or extensive experience in using Makaton. The school would like to have someone confirmed for the position by June 30th 2011, so interviews will be taking place during the week commencing Monday June 27th. Please ensure that your CV reaches Axcis by June 23rd at the very latest in order to be considered for the role. You will need to have a recent CRB check (i.e. one issued withing the last 2 years) otherwise you cannot be added to the shortlist for the vacancy. Pay for this position will be up to ?70 per day.
