A special school in Waltham Forest requires a Learning Support Assistant to start from June 1st 2011. You will be working with severely Autistic pupils in the secondary department, and must have previous experience in a similar position. There is a chance that you may need to support in the restraint of a particular pupil who tries to self-injur, so training in restraint techniques would be advantageous. The job is full-time and the school environment is very supportive and friendly, so if you have the required experience this might be the job for you!
