A special needs boys chool in Brent are looking for a highly professional TA to join the school. The age range of the group is between 3 and 17 years. The role will involve looking after a male pupil one to one in the morning with severe learning difficulties. The pupil can also be quite challenging so it is essential that the candidate can remain calm and professional at all times. Personal care is involved and the idea candidate should be reliable, hardworking and able to adapt to different scenarios. The role will also involve working in a group, classroom based scenario with pupils with special needs. The needs of the pupils vary from autism to downs syndrome. The group is a small group with teacher and two other teaching assistants. The candidate must be experienced. Relevant qualifications are desirable.
