A pupil referral unit in the Maidenhead area is looking for a qualified teacher to work with pupils with emotional and behavioural issues. The age range is from primary to secondary and the pupils can exhibit some challenging behaviour, so strong classroom management and an ability to build rapport with troubled and vulnerable young people is very important. Experience with EBD is desirable but a willing attitude to work and a caring nature is essential. Both primary and secondary teachers will be considered. You must be suitably qualified for the position advertised and be prepared to attend a face to face interview with Axcis to demonstrate your suitability for this role.
