Axcis Education are looking for a qualified Special Needs Teacher for a post at a Special School in South West London. This vacancy is part time, 1 day a week, however, should the school need additional cover throughout the week to cover staff absence then this is available to the successful candidate. This role is to begin after February half term. You must be a qualified teacher with experience working within SEN and in particular Autism, Physical Disabilities and Severe Learning Disabilities. The pupils at this school follow a broad, balanced and relevant curriculum, including the National Curriculum at a level appropriate to their age and learning stage. They provide a wide range of contexts for learning. The school uses a variety of communication aids and strategies, including Makaton signing, Intensive Interaction, Cued Articulation and PECS.
