Axcis Education are looking for an experienced Special Needs Teacher for a permanent post beginning September 2011. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a resource for pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder in a purpose built accommodation at a primary school in South West London. The teacher will work alongside the director of the centre, teaching in a provision for 10 pupils identified as having special educational needs within the Autistic Spectrum. The teacher will work within a team including the director of the centre, learning support assistants, speech and language therapist, occupational therapist, educational psychologist. The teacher will be willing to learn and develop an understanding of ASD and enhance their skills. Be prepared to take on board new ideas and advice, working within a structured environment. The teacher will need to have high energy levels and be a reflective practitioner. Closing date 19th May 2011. Please forward cv's as soon as possible.
