A Pupil Referral Unit in South West London (30 minutes from Waterloo) requires a full-time PSHE & Drama Teacher to start ASAP. This unit caters for secondary aged pupils with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD.) The successful candidate will need to have proven experience of delivering the PSHE & Drama curriculums to GCSE level, and the ability to keep EBD pupils calm and engaged as much as possible. Class sizes in Pupil Referral Units are very small (usually no more than 8 pupils per calss) with a high ratio of staff to pupils, offering much support and guidance. If you hold a UK recognised teaching qualification and a current CRB check (i.e. one issued within the last 18 months) and meet all the necessary requirements, then do not hesitate to apply for this position.
