Axcis Education are looking for a qualified Maths Teacher from September 2011. You will be a qualified teacher with experience of the UK National Curriculum for Maths to A Level. This school is based in South West London. GCSE results are above average, with more than 60% of students gaining 5 or more A* to C grades. Set in attractive grounds with good access to London transport, this is a fantastic opportunity for a Maths Teacher who wants to teach in a good school. This is a good school, where students make good progress in most of their lessons and attainment is rising. Key to this success is the introduction of rigorous procedures for monitoring and evaluating the personal development and well-being of each student and their progress towards challenging targets. Well-targeted intervention strategies and watchful care, guidance and support enable students to meet and exceed their targets, including targets in the business and enterprise specialist plan. You will be expected to fulfil the duties of a full time member of staff, to include marking books, setting homework and attending parents evening where necessary.
