Axcis Education have been asked by a client PRU secondary school to recruit for them a Assistant HeadTeacher for a year 11 Pupil Referral Unit based in central Croydon, and is a well-resourced provider within the Authority's Inclusion Strategy Service. The Unit occupies newly refurbished accommodation close to the town centre, and is committed to enabling a change in life chances for young people who have become excluded from mainstream education. A Deputy Headteacher is required from Easter 2010 on a permanent contract. The right person must have QTS and would suit someone who has been a KS3/4 leader or deputy head from mainstream or someone of similar standing from a SEN background. If you are an ambitious teacher who wishes to take the step up and has management experience this PRU will consider you. Salary: Leadership Scale L9-11.
